He also alibied for Wolves coach Randy Whitman stating the teams record was not a reflection on his coaching ability, “The league got wise to their players.”
Former bat boy Jeff Dubay sold some hope with this statement, “I’m convinced sooner or later the (Twins) rotation will be fine.” He also said he was not concerned about Rondell White’s production.
Lavelle E. Neal predicted Sidney Ponson would be a “big winner” for the Twins this year and was setting the stage for a “great comeback” with 13-14 wins.

Twins broadcaster Dick Bremer gets the nod this month for a variety of varnished takes. The most revealing was when he reflexively blurted out “what a beautiful bunt” as Joe Mauer fouled a bunt attempt six feet wide toward the third base coach.
