Who: See Below
Just a few crazy and a not so crazy take before we get to the Homer of the Month:
After a caller on the Sunday morning “Homer Huddle” criticized Delmon Young’s defense, Sid Hartman came to his defense with this gem, “It’s hard to play left field in the dome with all the white shirts.”
To nobody’s surprise purple apologist Sean Jensen proclaimed the Vikings “do have a chance” to make it to the Super Bowl.
Paul Allen used the term “amateur hour” to describe the Packer managements handling of the Brett Favre departure.
Some blunt commentary from columnist Patrick Reusse as he stated Coach Tim Brewster was “delusional” and that his team would not win a Big Ten game in 2008.
Winner: Jeff Dubay - The former batboy was at his provincial best in trying to put a homerish shade of lipstick on this pig when he suggested this after an 18-5 Twins loss to the Red Sox, “Yesterday’s game for the most part was competitive.”
Bottom Line: Bunny appears to be trying a bit too hard to defend his beloved Twins. |
