Who: Ducky (Paul Allen)

What: Twins fans heard broadcaster Dick Bremer feverishly exclaim, “what a phenomenal road trip” as catcher Joe Mauer wrapped a single to centerfield.  WCCO’s Mike Max made comments comparing Vikings draft pick Tavarius Jackson to Packer great Brett Favre. However, this week’s chalice is handed to someone not for an act of commission but of dubious omission.

After the Detroit Pistons 4-2 series loss to Miami, Paul Allen was virtually silent as to the underachieving ways of his Domino’s pizza party friend Skip Saunders.  After weeks of declaring the inevitability of a Pistons NBA title, he gave little airtime to the aftermath of the series loss.  His unwillingness to acknowledge the coaches culpability and overall playoff short comings had fans in Minnesota and Michigan scratching their heads.

stated it best when they suggest personal relationships are fine until they compromise an individual’s ability to be impartial.

Bottom Line: Et tu, P.A.?
