Who: Sid Hartman and Charley Walters
What: Pioneer Press writer Sean Jensen emerged this week as future H.O.W. contender as Vikings training camp got in full swing. He told P.A. and Dubay that the Vikings don’t have any glaring weaknesses and really shinned up tackle Bryant McKinnie in his column aptly titled “Image Repair”.
Jeff Dubay reached with his suggestion the Bears have an easy schedule (are Viking alibis already being launched?).
However, it was the Twin Cities pillars of “People Magazine” type tidbits that must have met for dinner this past week to synchronize their thoughts.
Both Sid and Shooter used the word courage in describing Twins pitcher Brad Radke’s willingness to pitch with a sore shoulder. Furthermore, Sid also threw out the synonym “guts” in describing the Twins workhorse.
Bottom Line: What’s next? Can we expect this tandem to call for the Congressional Medal of Honor to be bestowed upon Brad?
