Who: Adam Doctolero
What: Some late week antics by Rod Simons made this a very close race. His sideline reports during the Vikings/Steelers telecast were peppered with so much frenzied cheerleading, cupcake questioning, and carnival barking-like promotion that most weeks he would have taken home the prize.
However, another first time winner takes home the "Homer of the Week". It doesn't take long to get acclimated to the provincial ways of many in the Clear Channel family. KFAN's Vikings web reporter Adam Doctolero was chosen for his "seldom is heard a discouraging word" reports from Vikings training camp. This included the dubious statement "Vikings have plenty of talent to contend".
Bottom Line: Can we expect him to sing a verse of Homer on the Range for us?
