Who: Joe Senser
What: Some “media darling” promoting, boot licking, late to the dance statements, hyperbole and hope selling transpired this past week.
Sean Jensen suggested Matt Birk’s Pro Bowl selection was “well deserved”
Sid Hartman wrote that Vikings QB Brad Johnson would go down as one of the best quarterbacks to ever play in the NFL.
Paul Allen arrived a year late to the NBA assessment dance with his Wolves have “gotta bottom out” statement
Tom Powers used the word “courage” when describing retiring Twins pitcher Brad Radke.
Yet we give the nod to Vikings color commentator Joe Senser for his varnishing of head coach Brad Childress. After an embarrassing offensive display against the Packers, Joe put on his hope selling hat and predicted Brad Childress will ultimately be a “great coach” and stated that currently he is a “very, very good coach”
Bottom Line: Joe, hyperbole doesn’t look good on you.
