Who: Dave Lee

What: As tempting as it was to select Sid Hartman for the sheer volume of homerish takes over the past 5 decades (in particular apologizing for dozens of mediocre coaches), we must give the inaugural "Homer of the Week" nod to someone else. It was a challenge during a week with so many loses (not only of games but of players with regard to the Gophers women's basketball program) to find a media member who could spin some good feeling in this abyss of negativity.

Out of this chasm comes one Dave Lee. After the Twins first win of the season over Toronto, his radio interview with Twins Manager Ron Gardenhire filled the air with inane softball questions. Thank goodness there is a "go to" guy in the press when times get really tough.
