Mr. Scoggins is a beat writer
for the Star/Tribune who to often puts a slant on the
local team he is covering that reeks of bias. Specifically,
coverage of Gopher football over the past few years
has given the casual reader an impression the program
has nearly won the Big Ten championship.
Has his friendly relationship with the head coach compromised
his writing? Very little impartial assessment is emanating
from this “homer”.
