Who: Bob Sansevere

What: Generally not an apologist for the locals, Mr. Sansevere was very "un-Jerseylike" with his recent Pioneer Press column on the future of Gopher basketball coach Dan Monson. He supported Athletic Director Maturi's decision to retain the coach citing the difficulty recruiting (given the past NCAA sanction) and a player's hand injury (Grier) early in conference play.

He certainly is entitiled to his assessment, however many more puzzling writings like this and his status as a non-homer will surely be in jeopardy.
